I joined PSMA to help build relationships with professionals in the industry so I could learn from their experiences and apply their pieces of advice to my own experiences. How has PSMA been a benefit to you? PSMA has given me leadership experience and has exposed me to important people in the industry who are willing to help me reach my career goals. What does PSMA have to offer to new student members? PSMA takes the material learned in class and brings it to life through real life experiences of professionals in the business. Interesting Fact About Me: I am the 2008 Ohio Fair’s Queen and have traveled to 95 fairs across the state this past summer.
	Matt Custer, Vice President and Treasurer Major: Logistics Management with a minor in Rural Sociology Year in School: Senior Hometown: Washington Court House, Ohio Why did you join PSMA? I was looking to get involved in a way that would enhance my college experience, as well as reap professional benefits, and I decided to join the PSMA because it offers both of these. How has PSMA been a benefit to you? I joined PSMA for the networking and social opportunities and events that are available through participation in the organization and I have succeeded in realizing these goals. What does PSMA have to offer to new student members? PSMA is focused on developing your connections and opportunities under the operations management umbrella. We do that by offering new members opportunities to meet with top companies and their representatives in a small group and individual setting compared to a less intimate career fair environment. We also have pizza! Interesting Fact About Me: I am a car buff and participate in the industry through hands-on projects to following business and product news.
	Ryan McClure, Director of Professional Relations Major: Operations Management Year in School: Senior Hometown: Grove City, Ohio Why did you join PSMA? To gain leadership skills and experience. How has PSMA been a benefit to you? PSMA has opened new doors to employers and has helped develop real world experience. What does PSMA have to offer to new student members? PSMA has many things to offer new members. Meetings offer resume and interview pointers, contact information for recruiters, experience, and introduces new techniques being used in the business world. Interesting Fact About Me: I played rugby for The Ohio State University and my favorite activity is wakeboarding.
	Matt Studer, Director of Organizational Development Major: Finance and Operations Management (Purchasing) Year in School: Senior Hometown: Ann Arbor, Michigan Why did you join PSMA? Doctor Benton recommended, great opportunity for networking. How has PSMA been a benefit to you? Networking opportunities and lots of fun; oh and plenty of pizza. What does PSMA have to offer to new student members? Networking, relevant speakers, Pizza! and of course a good time! Interesting Fact About Me: Male lead in school play Sophomore and Senior year in High School; studied how to be a human calculator in elementary school.
	Adam Kozek, Director of Membership Major: Operations Management Year in School: Senior Hometown: Medford, New Jersey Why did you join PSMA? I joined PSMA to gain more knowledge about Operations and Logistics Management and also to start relationships in my search for a future job. How has PSMA been a benefit to you? PSMA has helped me get contacts for jobs, a leadership role on my resume, and has given me relationships with other people in the business school. What does PSMA have to offer to new student members? PSMA will teach you about Operations and Logistics and give you a good basis in how to write resumes, gain contacts, and look for a job. Interesting Fact About Me: I transferred to Ohio State from Gettysburg College at the beginning of my junior year.
